The Spa
Sauna, soak, repeat
An oversized sauna built for us on site by Birdsmouth Builders, a local Catskills craftsman — not a kit or a barrel — with two custom picture windows (6×6 and 3×2 feet) and pre-heat from your phone. Beside it, a solid western red cedar hot tub coopered by Forest Cooperage in British Columbia: real staves, no aluminum or fiberglass liner, open all year. An outdoor shower opens onto a herringbone patio with a hammock.
Warm up as the snow falls, then step out under the stars. It's the part of the stay guests mention first — and the reason so many rebook.

Who built it
The sauna was designed and built on site by Birdsmouth Builders , a carpentry shop serving the Catskills region — a bespoke build rather than a kit or a prefab barrel. The sauna and hot tub deck are in their portfolio.
The hot tub is solid western red cedar, coopered by Forest Cooperage in British Columbia — real staves rather than an aluminum or fiberglass liner, and kept open and heated straight through the winter.
The Game Room
Where everyone unwinds
A fully finished lower level built for play — a ping-pong table, a pop-a-shot arcade hoop, and a 75-inch Frame TV home theater with a bouclé sectional and motorized recliners. Made for a slow, rainy afternoon.
A dry bar with a second fridge and ice maker keeps everyone fueled — the natural gathering spot after dinner.

The Outdoors
Nine acres, a creek, and a private firepit
Nine private acres of meadow and evergreen, a wraparound deck with a BBQ and adirondack chairs, and a private trail across the seasonal creek to a secluded firepit ringed by lounge chairs.
Deeded access to Hunter Lake is just up the road, and the Willowemoc Wild Forest is effectively your backyard.
