How far is Evergreen Overlook from New York City? +
About two hours from New York City, and 1 hour 45 minutes from the George Washington Bridge — the bridge is the more useful number, since the route runs the GWB to the Palisades Interstate Parkway to NY-17 west. That also means Rockland and Orange County are closer, not farther: Nyack, Nanuet, and Suffern sit 20 to 25 minutes up the Palisades, putting Evergreen Overlook about an hour and 20 minutes from their door. Hudson and Kingston are each roughly an hour. One quirk worth knowing: GPS resolves the address to Parksville, in the Town of Rockland — DeBruce is the hamlet name.
